Queer Department

Welcome to the Queer department of the QUT Guild! If you’re new here, the Queer department is responsible for the queer community here at QUT. If you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual or aromantic, or any or all of the above, we’re here to represent you! You can contact the QUT Guild Queer Officer at queer@qutguild.com.

There’s a Queer Space at both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses.

Visit us at GP – X302, or KG – C206 to relax, study or socialise in a safer space.

QUT Queer Collective

Funded and supported by the QUT Guild, the QUT Queer Collective is the free support and social network for LGBTIQA+ students at QUT. It exists to raise awareness of queer people and the issues they face on a day to day basis, and to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Alongside social events, the Queer Collective engages in political activism and hosts professional development opportunities. Join the collective by clicking here, and keep up to date by following us on Facebook and Instagram @qgqueercollective!
