Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB) is a member-based not-for-profit organisation with over 10 years experience in creating systemic change through humanitarian engineering. We do this by working in partnership with developing communities, both overseas and within Australia, to address a lack of access to basic human needs by educating and training Australian students, engineers and the wider community.

The EWB chapter at QUT aims to promote the values of the organisation by engaging student volunteers in community development through a number of different activities and events, including: 
    • Youth Outreach Program and Regioneering 
    • Appropriate Technology Workshops
    • Events (Social events, Career Networking Events, Dragon Boat Regatta)

Collaboration with other organisations with similar values such as QUT Sustainability, Teach for Australia, and the UQ EWB Chapter.
