QUT Persians' Association is a Persian student club aimed at gathering Persians and those interested in Persian culture at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.

The Persians are an Iranian ethnic group native to Iran, historically known as Persia. They have a rich history and culture spanning thousands of years and have made significant contributions to fields such as art, literature, philosophy, and science.

The Persians are predominantly Shia Muslims, although there is a significant Sunni minority. The Persian language, also known as Farsi, is their mother tongue and is spoken by over 100 million people worldwide.

The Persian Empire was one of the most powerful empires in the world, covering a vast territory from the Mediterranean to India. It was founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BCE and lasted until it was conquered by Alexander the Great in 330 BCE.

Despite the challenges faced by Persians throughout history, they have maintained a strong sense of cultural identity and have produced some of the world's most renowned poets, philosophers, and scientists. Some notable Persians include the poet Rumi, philosopher Avicenna, and mathematician Al-Khwarizmi.
